Utility Cart to increase mobility during puppetry productions

On Friday, I purchased one of those foldable utility carts off Facebook marketplace which people use to carry equipment when they’re gardening, or beach chairs when they are attending concerts. My plan is to use it when I need to transport equipment for puppetry live shows, but I am also planning on using it as a mobile studio if I ever record a puppet video outdoors.

It is getting warmer, and one thing I’ve always wanted to attempt was to spend a day just walking around the community and catching shots of my puppet talking. Of course, puppets are light, and most equipment is small, so I could carry all of this in a bag, but then there would be a way to keep all of this organized.

I’m hoping to find a tripod with a small enough footprint that I can standing it on the cart. The cart itself will raise it up bit, and I can extend its length with a camera arm I purchased a few months ago. So, basically, I could deploy all of this and then stand up or sit down while I’m performing with the puppet.

In terms of sitting down, last summer I purchased a folding chair that was really designed for hunting which would fit inside the cart until I need to use it. The only other element missing is a way to set up my monitor, and I’m pretty sure I could solve for that.

With someone’s help, I’d like to experiment with performing a puppet while moving it around in it’s space, such as walking down a sidewalk, or going from room to room. If the camera can be stable enough, I think that the utility cart could be used to get a tracking shot.
