As the club’s founder, I’d like to announce a couple of key name changes. Moving forward, the club will be known as the Mid Michigan Puppetry Club. This is a change from its previous title, Central Michigan Area Puppetry Club. The new name is more concise and better represents its coverage area. At some point, I hope that the club can be registered as a guild, and this new name will make that transition easier.
Another name change involves our performance troupe, the Puppet Tree Players. Moving forward, we will go by the name Pleasant Puppets. Again, this new name is a little catchier, easier to remember, and helps to explain what audiences can expect from our performances. I would characterize our performances as positive, and family-friendly.
