Anybody who is interested in building or performing with puppets is enroll in a Puppet Building workshop scheduled for Saturday, August 15 from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. hosted by Art Reach of Mount Pleasant (111 E. Broadway in Mount Pleasant).
Attendees 12 and up will be guided through the process of building their own professional puppet from the design all of the way to assembly and then basic puppetry performance skills. Kids who require help are allowed to be accompanied by an adult. There will be a break for lunch, and attendees will have the option of eating lunch in town or bringing their own lunch with them.
